The News: Advanced Info Service and Bangkok Land have partnered to transform more than 4,000 rai of Muang Thong Thani into “Muang Thong NEXT: The Smart & Connected City.” The project will deploy 5G-Advanced, Wi-Fi 7, cloud and data center services, artificial intelligence, smart security systems and a citywide data platform supporting residential, commercial, educational and entertainment uses.
Project Watch Take: Muang Thong NEXT illustrates how digital infrastructure is becoming a foundation for large mixed-use developments rather than a later addition.
