The News: The Florida Chamber of Commerce and FloridaCommerce have announced the 32 products advancing in the second annual Coolest Thing Made in Florida competition. Selected through public voting from 100 products representing all 67 counties, the finalists span industries including aerospace, robotics, marine technology, clean energy and consumer manufacturing. Head-to-head voting will narrow the field before the winner is announced Oct. 28 at the Florida Chamber’s Future of Florida Forum in Orlando.
Project Watch Take: The competition gives Florida manufacturers statewide visibility while presenting the breadth of the state’s industrial capabilities to companies, investors and site selectors. By connecting individual products to skilled workers, supply chains and regional manufacturing clusters, Florida is using public engagement to strengthen its position as a destination for future manufacturing investment.
