The News: Highline Warren will invest $170 million in a new logistics and operations center in McDonough, Georgia, creating 160 jobs in Henry County. The more than 1.1-million-square-foot facility will incorporate advanced infrastructure and technology, accommodate future expansion and enable the company to reach 95% of the U.S. population within two days. The location also gives Highline Warren access to its first East Coast port of entry.
Project Watch Take: McDonough’s combination of interstate connectivity, metropolitan Atlanta’s workforce and access to the Port of Savannah continues to make Henry County a powerful distribution location. Highline Warren’s ability to serve nearly the entire country within two days demonstrates how Georgia’s transportation network is converting infrastructure into major private investment.
